CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Guests are welcome to arrive in time for lunch, and rooms will be available at 2:30 pm. 

Check out time is 11:00 am. Please settle your account and return your room keys to Reception by this time. You are welcome to stay for lunch, use the facilities and participate in our fitness program until 4:00 pm.  


ACCOMMODATION CONFIRMATION & CANCELLATIONS

To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of $110 is required within 7 days of making a reservation. The booking will automatically be cancelled if a deposit has not been received. Deposits can be transferred to another date if 14 days notice is given prior to arrival date.


ACCOUNTS

All services and purchases during your stay are charged to your room. Accounts are to be finalised on check-out. Cash, Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted and EFTPOS payment ($1000 limit per day) is available. There is a 1% credit card transaction fee on Mastercard and Visa and 3% on American Express. Please note there are no facilities for EFTPOS cash withdrawals.

NB Cheques will not be accepted for settlement of accounts.


SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Please notify us prior to arrival if you have any special dietary requirements such as a vegetarian, gluten free or yeast free diet. There may be a small charge for this service.


HEALTH & FITNESS PROGRAM

Guests are welcome to participate in as much or as little as they like. A health and fitness program is available at Reception. In the interest of caring for the environment we would like to reduce the amount of plastic cups we are using. It would be appreciated if you could bring a water bottle. Water bottles are also available for purchase.


Guests late for an exercise or relaxation class may not be admitted to the class. The warm-up part of the exercise class is very important and latecomers can create a disturbance for the other guests in pilates & other relaxation classes. Please consider your fellow guests and be on time. You may enjoy all the facilities at your leisure with the exception of the archery range. A Health & Fitness Co-ordinator must supervise this activity. All sporting equipment is available, ask at Reception.


AQUATIC CENTRE

The Aquatic Centre is open between 7.30 am and 9.30 pm. Please shower before entering the pool or spa. Pool towels are supplied. Please note that it is a requirement for all guests using the swimming pool to wear a swimming cap. For your convenience, swim caps are available to purchase at Reception at a cost of $4.40.


THERAPY & CONSULTATION BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

We strongly suggest pre-booking skin & body care therapies and consultations with the Dietician, Naturopath and Fitness Consultants to avoid disappointment.

Please try to avoid late cancellations of bookings. It may be necessary to impose a fee of $33 if a cancellation is made at the last moment or for failure to appear for a treatment or a consultation.


CHILDREN

Solar Springs is unsuitable for children under the age of 16 years.

 

DRESS CODE

The ambience at Solar Springs is relaxed and guests need only bring leisure wear. It is advisable to pack good walking shoes, a waterproof jacket and a torch for the night bushwalks and sports shoes for activities in the gym.

Whilst the atmosphere at Solar Springs is casual, we do ask guests to refrain from wearing robes, singlet tops, or bare feet in the Dining room.


SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted at the Retreat.


ALCOHOL

The bringing of alcohol into the Retreat is prohibited. The Dining Room is license and we  have a selection of red and white wines to purchase for the evening meal only.


INTERNET ACCESS

Internet access is available in the foyer for guests to check their e-mails. The cost is $2.20 for 15 minutes or $6.60 for 1 hour, to be used within 7 days.


RECEPTION

Reception is open from 8:30 - 6:30 Monday to Friday and 8:30 - 5:30 Saturday and Sunday. We are happy to assist with all enquiries.


TELEPHONES

Our rooms are not equipped with telephones.

MOBILE PHONES

The use of a mobile phone in the common areas of the Retreat is prohibited. We ask guests not to leave phones on when unattended.


BEVERAGE FACILITIES

Tea and coffee making facilities and filtered water are located in the lounge 24 hours a day. We advise that the herbal tea list be consulted before consumption as each tea has individual properties.


LAUNDRY

Laundry service is available on request at $11 per bag.
